A stationery from Florence

Remember the postcard from Florence I got? That's not all goodness I got from that place. My friend also brought me this wonderful set of stationery! She sais that Florence is famous for it's paper. I find it so gorgeous that I am scared to write on it:P

  1. I feel the same about beautiful stationery... I'm scared to use it, isn't it weird? if we do not use it, what the hell we should do with it? So I don't waste it all at once and I save one leaf to my collections. I do such thing since I was a child. Ages ago stationery was more usual around, I have my first set and I saved the folder, one leaf and two envelopes, they are so pretty that I just can't send them :) I was maybe seven or eights years old, barely knew about penpalling. Now stationery is an oasis... that one from Florence is perfect! I would save one of those ^^

  2. I think I'll save a sheet for myself but use the rest as that's what it's for. But oh, that'll be a pain to spoil it with my messy handwriting:P

Yes, I too remember the times when I could buy colorful paper all around, now it's so hard to get it:/

  3. It is very pretty stationary indeed! :) I have great difficulty using some of my nicest stationary too. Silly, aren't we? Ha! Ha!

  4. I've heard Florence is properly for its paper too but I'd never seen any and that is gorgeous/elegant and looks also very expensive. I'm glad I'm not the one writing on it as I'd need guide lines to stop me spoiling it.

  5. I have some paper from Florence too, and I feel exactly the same! My beautiful notebook has been sitting on a shelf for two years because I can't bring myself to 'ruin' it!

  6. It's so beautiful! I usually save a nice set like this for a special letter to a special pal around their birthday or when something else special happens in her life :)

  7. Vesna, that's a really nice idea :) But I also think about mixing it with other stationery and dividing among penpals:)

  8. GotThatSwing, that's a good idea also - use one sheet for the first page and add plane paper for the rest of the letter. Everybody who will get it will be so excited :)
