I like it very much. That girl must be super to send you such beautiful postcards with the typical windmills and the corners of the postcard cut with her corner rounder. She really loves it (: Windmills (in Portuguese "moinhos de vento") are very typical here, they were very used in the past, but obviously like many other things they were substituted by machines in big industries, most of them are now to visit or to learn from the past.
Yes, no doubts she is super;) I love the postcard too:D I was wondering if she uses something or cuts the corners herself:D I never heard of a machine to cut corners before.
I should have added more description of what the postcard presents but didn't want to take it off the wall. So thanks for providing information in the comment^.^
To add the thought from myself, although it's Portugal, the view is quite 'Don Quijotish':P
You can find some in ebay, very cheap, there are several cut shapes with those corner rounders. It is a small thing, like those to make "holes" in paper to put in a file, but these have a things that cut that kind of shapes (: I really like it, though I would love that could exit a set with something where we could change the shape and have many to pick, each corner rounder only has one shape.
I really need to read Don Quixote, I saw it once so cheap in second hand, why didn't I bought it. I remember that in the school O studied from 5th to 9th grade, in the bar, there was a whole wall with a Don Quixote painting, made by the students, I just remembered about it know. Last night I had a dream about that school, but it was so different, more modern and there was a dance contest happening in the basement, I was going to get into it... but I remember to look around and think that even if I was good enough I hadn't chances to win because I hadn't many friends in facebook and I would not get many votes... :| I am not kidding. I was going to have as partner the girl who did drivers exam with me *ah ah ah* I remember some more things. I actually I am surprise because I can remember a lot from this one.. I guess it was the last one I had last night, so.. I woke up during it.
Hm, maybe I'll look for corner rounders myself too. Haha, what a strange dream, especially the part about facebook, how ridiculous :D Well, you can't buy all the books in the world even when they're cheap. Maybe you'll bump into cheap Don Quijote again and grab him this time:)
bahh... I should leave you thinking that your Portuguese friend is very talented and can make those corners all around the paper and postcards only wit her gift....
What a beautiful postcard! :) I collect postcards too but have never gotten one from Portugal.
