Do you ever feel like a big child because of penpalling?^^ In Poland it's not easy to find stationery in shops but just before the beginning of the school year there are lots of notebooks with colorful sheets in some supermarkets! I love this season^^ I wander among parents with kids and look at all notebooks, and choose! I can bet people think I make shopping for some child... and they're not much mistaken, I buy for a big child in me^^
New stuff!^^
Also, in the biggest bookstore chain in my country I found the lovely folk stationery^^ I love our folk patterns, so colorful.
And my last purchase lately... postal scales^^ Finally, I can order stamps through Internet, there's much bigger choice than in my post office and I won't have to wait in a queue there anymore.
Oh, happy me^^
OH MY GOD!! Everything is so beautiful!! I feel so envy! hahaha XD lucky you!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll get some, only written;)
ReplyDeleteThose folk patterns are really pretty. That's something I can't find here in Belgium. :(
ReplyDeleteWhen I first got in to pen-palling the local supermarket used to stock up like that and I used to buy tonnes of things....then slowly the stopped and had the same thing every year.... and now they've eventually stopped selling it altogether.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the internet :P... I'm so used to writing on lines now though which isn't a good thing.
Unfortunatelly, there aren't many Internet shops with stationery here either, at least with the notebooks as I'm not usually interested in 10 sheets+10 envelopes sets which often turn out not enough sheets and 9 envelopes stay:/ The online shops from abroad mean high delivery costs to me:/ So I'd rather "hunt" something in "real" shops. So I hope they won't stop selling stationery! Even though just once a year.
ReplyDeleteLooking for supplies around here is a pain too... But those designs look so lovely and I really love the folk theme!! I've bought a scale like 10 years ago and it has been my best friend ever since ^.^ hehe... Happy to see all your lucky purchases ^^
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful finds! And aren't postal scales the best?! I have one too and it's very useful. :)
ReplyDeleteHow much costed those pads??? I can believe you can find such things! Here not even when school starts! It's all about blank paper... poor me.. meh.. I own a scale for such a long time it is very useful indeed! **
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the exact price but the upper ones were cheap, around EUR 1 I think. The folk ones were more expensive, around EUR 3 for the set and around EUR 4 for the pad.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty papers!!
ReplyDeleteI have seriously considered buying a postal scale myself, it would really help and I could stop standing in line at the post office forever. But they are $40 here...and all the stamps and papers I could buy with that!
The scale wasn't cheap for me either. But it's an investition in my time;) And I can get nicer stamps now:D
